About The Position

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting cultivation management in the day-to-day functions of the cultivation production areas, including propagation, cultivation, cure, and harvest. The Cultivation Technician’s role in maintaining a sanitary and organized inventory of product depends upon the detail and thoughtfulness exhibited in this position, primarily, the ability to effectively compartmentalize cultivars, batches, and corresponding numeric values to reduce any confusion or mislabeling.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of cannabis growing/trimming/industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Argus Fertigation experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lighting cycles, preferably HPS and CMH lighting.
  • Familiarity with optimal grow room set points (humidity, temperature and CO2).
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day plant care, including cleaning, watering, pruning, harvesting, and trimming.
  • Monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the State of MA and standards set by Lazy River Products.
  • Ensure plant health by pruning, topping, and analyzing plant health according to company policy, as well as any other tasks required.
  • Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
  • Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for fellow employees, products, and the facility.
  • Maintain knowledge of all LRP products and services, while adhering to CCC, state, and local laws.
  • Maintain organization and appearance of facility by daily upkeep and light cleaning.
  • Assist in start-of-day and end-of-day procedures.
  • Assist management in product inventory and/or adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge on state and local laws pertaining to adult-use marijuana and dispensing adult-use marijuana.
  • Follows established LRP policies and procedures, contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
  • Update any personal information which may be required for contact, payment, benefits, tax purposes, or similar contained in an employee’s personnel or state file.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
