About The Position

Ethos Cannabis is a multi-state cannabis company with operations in cultivation, processing, and dispensing in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Our goal is to help individuals feel and live better through their experiences with cannabis, supported by our relationship with Jefferson Health, a leading academic medical center. We are seeking a passionate, driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative Cultivation Technician to support the company's cultivation activities. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and is a collaborative team player but also a self-starter. Previous cannabis cultivation experience is not required. The role reports to the Cultivation Manager.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Ability to work weekends/holidays
Ability to perform activities for up to 8 hours a day
Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
Must pass stringent background test requirements of Pennsylvania

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a commercial cannabis setting is beneficial but not necessary
Certification(s)/education in agricultural, horticultural, or botanical practices are beneficial but not necessary
Education in agriculture, horticulture, or botany is beneficial but not necessary

Responsibilities

Environmental checks & ongoing observation
Cloning
Transplanting
Pruning
Trellising
Harvesting
Correctly utilizing appropriate checklists, logs, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures
Cleaning & sanitizing
Keep work and break areas free of clutter and debris
Ensure work uniforms are as clean as possible
Communicate effectively with others in cultivation and other departments
Update any personal information which may be for contact, payment, benefits, tax purposes, or similar contained in an employee's personnel file
Other duties as assigned
