We are currently looking for Cultivation Technician for our Brooklyn, Queens Co. facility.
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in a production environment
- Knowledge of cultivation is preferred
- College level Diploma Certificate
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labour tasks required for employment in a commercial scale indoor growing facility.
- Knowledge of GMP and GPP is an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy and dusty environment
- Must be able to wear the required PPE.
- Job requires lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching and standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities
- Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment (flower room- walls, floors and tables)
- Assist with all the tasks in the cultivation areas, including: cloning, pruning, transplanting, defoliation, super cropping, topping
- Line Clearance: wash floors, ceilings, fogging the room. Sanitizing equipment before it is returned to the room and documenting Line Clearance processes
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Washing and/or sanitizing cultivation equipment
- Maintain cultivation area equipment: ongoing and preventative
- Harvest, cannabis plants from flower rooms, sterilize and repopulate rooms in an efficient and timely manner
- Trimming- wet trimming, dry trimming and hand trimming.
- Wet bucking, dry bucking and hand bucking
- Vacuuming, mopping the floor of the room and wiping up spills
- Do preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of molds, powdery mildew, spider, mites, root, aphids, fungus gnats, etc. in a pesticide free environment
- Apply and monitor beneficial insects
- Waste disposal from flower rooms, destruction of cannabis by product
- Maintain cleaning equipment and responsible for the maintenance of the equipment
- Maintain and verify cleaning/sanitation records
- Working safely by exercising due diligence and reporting any hazard to the Cultivation Team Lead, Cultivation Supervisor and Head Grower
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
