About The Position
Trulieve is a fast-growing company in the cannabis industry, dedicated to providing patients with relief through trusted products. Their plants are hand-grown in an environment designed to reduce unwanted chemicals and pests, ensuring a natural process. Trulieve's products aim to alleviate symptoms associated with serious medical conditions such as seizures, severe muscle spasms, pain, nausea, and loss of appetite. The company's trained staff collaborates with physicians to provide appropriate products and dosages for compassionate patient care. The Cultivation Technician I provides manual labor to support the operations within the Cultivation department, adhering to all laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This role primarily supports the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation. Depending on business needs, Cultivation Technician I’s may also assist in veg, mom, and propagation.
Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities
- Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors
- Repetitive climbing on a ladder or working on an elevated platform
- Netting and Trellis flower plants
- Loading plants and placing emitters
- Tucking and spreading plants as directed
- Pruning and defoliating plants
- Proper Use of PPE in accordance with company guidelines
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once plant maintenance is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment upon use
- Perform various manual cross-department job duties as needed
- All other duties as assigned
