The Cultivation Technician I provides manual labor to support the operations within the Cultivation department, while abiding by laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. The Cultivation Technician I position will primarily support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance tasks and sanitation responsibilities. In addition, as determined by business need, Cultivation Technician I’s may be flexed to provide support in veg, mom, and propagation.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities

  • Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors
  • Repetitive climbing on a ladder or working on an elevated platform
  • Netting and Trellis flower plants
  • Loading plants and placing emitters
  • Tucking and spreading plants as directed
  • Pruning and defoliating plants
  • Proper Use of PPE in accordance with company guidelines
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once plant maintenance is completed
  • Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment upon use
  • Perform various manual cross-department job duties as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
