As a Cultivation Technician 3 at Vangarden Cannabis, you will play a crucial role in the success of our cultivation operations. This position involves overseeing daily tasks and guiding team members in your designated area. You will perform a variety of essential functions, including cleaning, transplanting, trellising, defoliating, pruning, harvesting, and irrigation management. Collaborating closely with the Cultivation Supervisor, you will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with company and state regulations. You will maintain detailed logs on key performance indicators, track plant health, and report any issues related to pests or diseases. Additionally, your responsibility includes enforcing sanitization protocols, conducting room checks, and assisting with inventory audits. This role is integral to upholding our commitment to quality and sustainability while ensuring a productive and organized cultivation environment that aligns with Vangarden's mission and values.
Requirements
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in various cultivation techniques, including pruning, defoliating, and irrigation management.
- Familiarity with record-keeping software for documenting plant growth, pest control applications, and overall performance metrics.
- Attention to detail for conducting daily room checks and monitoring plant health.
- Solid understanding of state and company regulations.
- Familiarity with Metrc software for tracking inventory and adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
