About The Position

Vangarden is seeking a Cultivation Technician I to join our Flower Team within the Cultivation department. This is a hands-on, full-time role supporting daily cultivation operations and ensuring plant health and productivity throughout the growth cycle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, detail-oriented work and is interested in growing within a fast-paced cultivation environment.

• High attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in hot, humid environments
• Comfortable with physical labor, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using ladders
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting

Nice To Haves

• Prior cannabis or cultivation experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cultivation tasks including transplanting, trellising, pruning, harvesting, trimming, and plant propagation
• Assist with irrigation and fertigation processes, including filling nutrient stock tanks
• Conduct routine room checks and monitor plant health, reporting any pests, diseases, or abnormalities
• Apply biological controls and pesticides in accordance with company and state regulations
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized workspaces
• Process plant waste and support overall facility cleanliness
• Identify and report equipment issues to management
