About The Position

We are looking for a Cultivation Supervisor to join our Cultivation Team and help oversee daily operations within our commercial cannabis facility. In this role, you will work closely with the Cultivation Manager to lead Cultivation Technicians within the MPV department, coordinate daily tasks, maintain production standards, and ensure cultivation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and state regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role for those ready to take the next step in their cultivation career.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional cannabis cultivation experience
  • Proficiency with METRC or other cannabis track-and-trace systems
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with quality control and production standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to provide clear, respectful direction and constructive feedback
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Required state/local cannabis worker or agent licensure
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends based on production needs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, including on concrete floors
  • Frequently walk, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions
  • Consistently lift and carry 10–20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Climb ladders and stairways while maintaining balance
  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring grasping, turning, pinching, and other fine motor movements
  • Work safely around cultivation equipment, plants, nutrients, pesticides, biological control agents, and other cultivation materials

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Experience leading a team of approximately 10+ employees

Responsibilities

  • Assigning and delegating daily tasks to Cultivation Technicians based on production schedules and priorities
  • Monitoring team productivity, work quality, and task completion
  • Ensuring cultivation rooms, workspaces, equipment, and machinery remain clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Conducting daily room and plant health checks and reporting pest, pathogen, disease, or other plant health concerns
  • Ensuring accurate completion of cultivation records, production logs, timekeeping, and KPI documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records related to plant growth, harvests, trimming, cloning, transplanting, pesticide and biological control applications, green waste, and task completion
  • Reporting damaged, faulty, or malfunctioning equipment to the Facilities Team
  • Ensuring team members follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and applicable state and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with the creation, revision, implementation, and enforcement of departmental SOPs
  • Supporting the training and development of Cultivation Technicians
  • Maintaining proficiency in METRC and ensuring team members are properly trained on required track-and-trace procedures
  • Providing coaching and constructive feedback to team members
  • Assisting with performance evaluations and addressing performance, attendance, or work quality concerns with the Cultivation Manager
  • Maintaining adequate supplies and materials needed to meet production goals
  • Supporting a positive, respectful, and productive team environment
