About The Position

Pleasantrees is a Michigan-rooted cannabis company founded in 2018. Cultivation Associates report to the GM of Cultivation and are responsible for sourcing, cloning, transplanting, and providing nutrients to a variety of marijuana plants. They help keep the cultivation facility clean, organized, and in a constant state of compliance.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening; THC is excluded from the screening.
• Comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime depending on demand.

Responsibilities

• Optimize cultivation-related SOPs.
• Set up and maintain irrigation systems and environmental controls.
• Ensure plant health by pruning, topping, and trimming.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Pack and unpack supplies.
• Handle damaged and waste products.
• Perform general labor throughout the facility as needed.
• Assist others as part of a team to accomplish cultivation goals set by management.
• Perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
