About The Position

Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal. This is a part-time position available with day/evening/night shifts. A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility are required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job

Nice To Haves

6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

Responsibilities

Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
