We are seeking several experienced Culinary Supervisors to work with the Sodexo Live! Travel Team! The Sodexo Live! Travel Team is a specialized group of employees who travel to various venues and events to support Sodexo Live!'s food and beverage operations. This team provides on-the-ground expertise for major sporting events, as well as smaller venues requiring seasonal support. In addition to operational support, the Travel Team plays a vital role in developing the next generation of hospitality professionals by offering hands-on training and mentorship, ensuring consistent service excellence across all locations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in culinary arts, preferably in high-volume or event-based settings
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.
  • ServSafe Certification.
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute fundamental cooking techniques, ensure proper seasoning, and maintain high presentation standards.
  • Manage a shift or station in the hot kitchen, cold kitchen, or banquet kitchen.
  • Supervise food production and service with guidance from senior chefs.
  • Help organize kitchen workflow to complement broader foodservice operations.
  • Ensure Kitchen Safety and Sanitation conforms to all Sodexo Live!, regulatory, and governmental standards to provide a safe workplace producing high quality food products.
