About The Position

The CM Culinary cleaning specialist works closely with the CM Culinary leadership team to ensure that all equipment and surfaces are maintained according to department best practices and health department guidelines. This position is ideal for a self-motivated, humble, and skilled individual who is comfortable working alone. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Requirements

• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must be willing to work a second-shift schedule (mostly 3-11:30p).
• Must be willing to work weekends including Sundays as needed.
• Must be comfortable using cleaning chemicals such as detergents, delimers, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial cleaning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
• Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
• Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, squeegees, mops, etc. as needed.
• Prepare cold entrees and sides and stock items such as bottled drinks when needed.
• Run laundry as needed.
• Mop, sweep, detail and clean daily.
• Communicates frequently with daytime staff and culinary leadership on tasks assigned in a written format.
• And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
