About The Position

As a Culinary Cook, you are responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to established receipts, company standards, and presentation guidelines. This role supports efficient kitchen operations while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Previous kitchen or line cooking experience
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team oriented with a positive attitude
Strong understanding of time management and multitasking skills
California Food Handlers Certificate required upon hire
Ability to remain calm and work well in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Commitment to delivering exceptional service
Ability to partner with coworkers in a team environment

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all time
Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during and after service
Assist with food prep, including chipping, portioning, and all cooking tasks
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of service team member to ensure smooth delivery
Properly store food, label items and minimize waste
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
Comply with company policies, health department regulations, and safety standards
Other duties as assigned
