Culinary Lead
About The Position
Oryana is seeking candidates for a full-time Culinary Department Lead at our 10th Street store. The Culinary Lead supports the Culinary team in providing an exceptional customer experience by ensuring timely service; products that are uniform in size, taste, and consistency; and greeting and interacting with the customer in a friendly and personal way. The Culinary Lead must also be able to fulfill the responsibilities of Culinary roles (Cook, Café Staff, Culinary Staff, Baker, and Dishwasher) as needed. This year-round position requires open availability with the ability to work open, closing and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- An ideal candidate has prior food preparation experience in a retail or cafe setting and a passion for good quality food!
- We are seeking a lead who fosters a positive work environment and has exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to regularly move/transport up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
