About The Position

Join our team as a Culinary Driver where you will bring prepared foods and supplies to the different outlets. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or three months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to assist with driving shuttles or transporting guests as needed.
  • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Responsibilities

  • Pick up food from production areas, load on to truck and deliver to the appropriate outlets.
  • Pick up supplies from warehouse and deliver to appropriate outlet.
  • Update banquet worksheets and deliver food accordingly.
  • Work in a prompt and organized manner to insure timely deliveries to outlets.
  • Keep truck clean.
  • Return empty cart and left-over food from functions back to appropriate location.
  • Ability to safely and correctly operate lift gate at the back of the truck.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicles.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe, professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct effective communication with other team members using radios.
  • Help clean and maintain all work facilities.
  • Keep vehicle fueled and oil checked as needed.
  • Perform minor maintenance or adjustments as required.
  • Report any accidents or damage to a vehicle to the Executive Steward.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Dress in proper uniform to include departmental approved footwear.
  • Help to empty the trash truck when full.
  • To assemble equipment needed for banquet functions on Queen Mary.
  • Drive equipment to and from functions as needed.
  • To assist with keeping the loading dock areas clean of carts and equipment.
  • To assist with shoveling snow and placing ice melt in delivery areas.
  • Be safety minded in all tasks related to the delivery of products.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
