About The Position

Northridge Village is seeking a dedicated Culinary/Dietary Aide to join their team. This role ensures residents and guests receive nutritious meals, performs designated work and cleaning routines for the Dietary Department, and helps create a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The community offers independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care, and is committed to providing a great work environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent education (GED) is preferred but not required.
• Serv Safe certification is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Helps create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
• Follows written and oral instructions, diet orders/tray cards, and work assignments.
• Ensures that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
• Performs defined work routines.
• Assists with cleaning routines after meals and setting up for the next meal.
• Follows proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by the Culinary Director.
• Attends scheduled department meetings.
• Attends educational programs.
• Follows defined safety codes while performing duties.
• Follows Infection Control procedures.
• Understands community’s fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
• Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
