About The Position

Cedar Ridge Village is seeking a dedicated Culinary/Dietary Aide to help provide nutritious meals and an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests. The role serves meals, supports customer service and dining-room collaboration, follows diet orders and tray cards, and carries out assigned Dietary Department work and cleaning routines. The position also supports food and supply handling, sanitation, safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Preferred: high school graduation or equivalent education (GED); not required.
• ServSafe certification is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help create a restaurant-style dining experience by serving meals, providing customer service, and collaborating with others.
• Follow written and oral instructions, diet orders and tray cards, and work assignments.
• Deliver meal orders accurately and follow any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Perform defined work routines.
• Clean after meals and help set up for the next meal.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by the Culinary Director.
• Attend scheduled department meetings and educational programs.
• Follow established safety codes while performing duties.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Learn the community’s fire and disaster plans and follow procedures during drills and emergencies.
• Stay knowledgeable about applicable federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
