About The Position
Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Chicago, we are seeking a Culinary Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage operations. Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience in an administrative role in a guest focused company, hotel industry preferred.
- Extensive knowledge on administrative systems including MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English to all staff and management.
- 1 year of experience using Birchstreet preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, culinary, food & beverage, or hotel operations required.
- Must have work authorization in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience using Birchstreet preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete and accurately handle all inquiry calls.
- Provide administrative support for designated manager as requested to include correspondence, mail, phone coverage, filing and maintaining files.
- Coordinate and maintain employee training records for culinary team members.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Assist with payroll administration.
