About The Position

Gattara Restaurant, located in the landmark Warwick Denver Hotel, serves a luxe breakfast in the morning and impressive Italian food and cocktails in the evening. Gattara is seeking two experienced Culinary Cooks. You will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals that meet the standards of our establishment. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction by ensuring that dishes are prepared accurately, safely, and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to food safety regulations. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, your contribution will help create memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • Catering and Banquet experience
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and timely service during peak hours.
  • Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Daily preparation of fresh pasta, sauces and all other menu items.
  • Prepare delicious Italian dishes from scratch while following the recipe to produce consistent results.
  • Preparing pizzas out of our menu and based on custom orders.
  • Bake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust.
  • Complete prep list, effectively run station during shift, follow all specs and stock food as needed.
  • Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all banquet functions.
  • Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of the food production for all outlets and banquets, including food preparation according to the description. Adhere to sanitation practices.
