We’re here to help them along the way! We are seeking a Culinary Cook to provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef. You will also attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests, while maintaining the comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents. This role works under the supervision of and takes instruction from the executive chef and sous chef.

Requirements

Ability to speak, read and write English
High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines

Nice To Haves

Thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices
Strong customer service focus; ability to multitask
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred
