About The Position

The Event Check-In Attendant ensures a smooth event-day experience by checking in temporary and borrowed team members, verifying work eligibility, and providing administrative and staffing support. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees arriving for their shifts and helps maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming check-in process.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in temporary and borrowed team members.
  • Verify employee identity, scheduled assignments, required training, and credentials.
  • Direct employees to their assigned department and supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and check-in documentation.
  • Report staffing discrepancies and assist with shift coverage as needed.
  • Communicate basic instructions in both English and Spanish.
  • Distribute meal vouchers to approved employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company uniform and grooming standards.
  • Support new team members by explaining the check-in process and answering general questions.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain the check-in area before, during, and after events.
