About The Position

Savory is seeking a dependable and hospitality-focused Culinary Attendant to join the team within one of their onsite business dining spaces. This role is ideal for someone with prior kitchen or food service experience who understands food safety, cleanliness, and high-quality presentation standards. This position does not involve full cooking responsibilities, as food is delivered fully prepared. Responsibilities include reheating food using approved equipment, preparing smoothies and beverages, light food assembly, stocking stations, and maintaining safe food handling practices in accordance with Department of Health and Savory standards.

Requirements

  • Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
  • Basic understanding of spoken and written English
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs
  • DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule daytime Monday – Friday and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Previous experience in food service, catering, hospitality, or kitchen operations preferred
  • Understanding of basic food safety practices, including temperature danger zones, safe food holding, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Professional communication and a team-oriented mindset
  • Positive, calm, and solutions-focused demeanor
  • Comfort working in a client-facing corporate dining environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present food items according to Savory standards for quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Reheat and hold prepared food using approved equipment and food safety procedures
  • Prepare smoothies, beverages, and light food items as needed during service
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work areas, including equipment, utensils, and service stations
  • Execute opening and closing procedures for assigned stations
  • Support inventory organization, stocking, and replenishment throughout service
  • Serve as a professional and hospitable representative of the Savory brand onsite
  • Collaborate with onsite culinary and hospitality teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Other duties as assigned to support the team
