About The Position

Carver Ridge Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant to join their growing team. Carver Ridge Senior Living is located just outside the heart of downtown Carver, Minnesota. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their gorgeous 70-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Carver Ridge provides a stable leadership team and a cheerful staff. Carver Ridge was recently voted Best in Senior Living in 2021 and 2022. Lifespark is a complete senior health company headquartered in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Since 2004, they’ve been helping seniors stay healthy, navigate their health care options with confidence, and live fuller, more independent lives as they age. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
