About The Position

Arbor Oaks, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team! Arbor Oaks Senior Living is located right off Hanson Blvd NW in Andover, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 70-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Arbor Oaks is a growing community with a fun, caring, and passionate team. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Part Time AM (7a-2p), Part Time PM (4p-7p) with every other weekend rotation. Our Culinary Assistants/Servers becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
