About The Position
Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join their growing team. Cardinal View Senior Living, which opened in the fall of 2021, is a 104-unit community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Culinary Assistant/Server will become part of the team and impact the lives of residents. The role is responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff, while creating an environment that promotes resident well-being.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
- Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
- Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
- Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
- Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
