About The Position
Our Culinary Arts Instructors provide engaging instruction, administer tests and evaluate student progress, understanding and proficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have challenging projects and creative people who make a difference in the lives of at-risk young people each and every day.
Requirements
- Valid culinary certification, license or accreditation
- Industry experience
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide industry-recognized instruction and training; log student progress
- Identify, select and modify instructional resources to meet student needs
- Evaluate and supervise students in on-the-job training
- Motivate and counsel students about study habits, behavior and personal issues
- Model appropriate behavior; mentor and monitor students
