CULINARY AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CULINARY AMBASSADOR position. This role involves monitoring customers and making recommendations to their diets. It is a full-time and part-time position with a midday shift, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend hours required. The location is Nebraska Training Table - 1210 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE 68588. Online applications are accepted only. The pay range is $18.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour. Requirements
- Previous high volume catering or food service experience preferred.
- Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Manages food allergens.
- Modifies menus according to diet prescriptions.
- Provides basic diet information throughout a patient’s stay.
- Acts according to Joint Commissions/CMS standards and regulations for infection prevention control.
- Communicates with patients, their visitors and the hospital’s care team.
- Resolves patient dining concerns or complaints immediately.
- Reports a patient’s need for assistance to a supervisor or the care team, as appropriate.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
