About The Position
As a Culinary Aide at Windmill Ponds, you will help serve meals, keep the dining room running smoothly, and make mealtime a highlight of residents' day. Windmill Ponds is an assisted living residence in Alexandria.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous food service or culinary experience
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents with care and attention to their preferences
- Set up and break down the dining room before and after meals
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized
- Learn each resident's dietary needs, allergies, and food preferences
- Respond quickly and kindly to meal requests during service
- Support the cook and culinary team as needed
