Culinary Aide – Be Part of a Team That Feeds the Heart
Full-Time Position
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and love knowing your work brings comfort and joy to others, this role is for you. We’re seeking a Culinary Aide to help prepare, portion, and serve meals that meet high standards for taste, safety, and presentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of food preparation and safety
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit, if required per state regulations.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Experience in food service is desired.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food items for regular and therapeutic diets
• Ensuring meals are served attractively and on time
• Using proper portion control and food storage methods
• Maintaining food temperatures and completing required logs
• Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and safe
• Following infection control and safety procedures
• Assisting with inventory and supply storage
• Supporting residents with kindness and professionalism
• Perform other duties as assigned.
