About The Position
Mustang Freightways is a leading freight transportation and logistics company specializing in LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and TL (Truckload) shipping services throughout Alberta and British Columbia. We’re known for our reliable, on-time deliveries and strong focus on safety and service excellence. We are currently hiring a PART TIME EVENING CUBER to join our team. This position is essential to our freight logistics operations and involves measuring and documenting freight dimensions to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control accuracy. The ideal candidate is available Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 4pm - 10:30pm & Friday's 1pm to 9:30pm. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a logistics, or transportation environment, with stable hours and long-term career potential.
Requirements
- Comfortable working around mobile equipment and forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer/tablet skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if required
- Strong English communication skills
- Positive attitude, punctual, and reliable
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is an asset but not required
Responsibilities
- Measure and record length, width, and height of freight using measurement tools
- Input freight dimensions into a tablet-based system or warehouse software
- Track and maintain accurate freight inventory and measurement logs
- Work around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mobile equipment
- Support general administrative tasks as needed
