Sigma Defense is seeking a CTU 4 Network Engineer to support our team in San Diego, CA. This role involves maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting CTU 4 tactical hardware and associated network components, including system updates, patching, and configuration control. The position also requires supporting virtualization, enclave routing, cross-domain interfaces, and tactical data paths. Additionally, the engineer will provide direct technical support to shipboard ITs during Fleet training evolutions, conduct pier side and underway testing, and validate system readiness. Cybersecurity responsibilities include supporting RMF artifacts, STIG application, HBSS/ACAS compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ensuring CTU 4 components meet Navy cybersecurity and accreditation requirements, including Zero Trust-aligned hardening. The role also involves executing functional and performance tests, documenting findings, and supporting automated test development. Program integration and coordination with various stakeholders, as well as producing technical reports and system status updates, are key aspects of this position.
