The Career Transition Services (CTS) Specialist provides transitional support and placement services that lead students to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training. This role focuses on helping students overcome transitional barriers and step confidently into careers, further education, or advanced training. The CTS Specialist guides students through their career transition by providing individualized case management, identifying and remediating transitional barriers, establishing supportive mentoring relationships, offering personalized career counseling, evaluating student performance, and developing/monitoring student transition plans. Additionally, the role involves building employer and community connections through job development activities and establishing beneficial linkages with businesses. The specialist is responsible for supporting educational and placement goals, ensuring the Center meets performance targets, and maintaining high standards of attendance, accountability, and productivity. The role also requires adherence to integrity guidelines, mentoring and monitoring Career Success Standards, and collaborating effectively with staff across all departments.
