About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a hands-on CTO Co-Founder for an early-stage healthcare AI startup opportunity in New York, New York. This role involves leading technology, product architecture, and engineering execution from concept through production, building and launching an AI-enabled healthcare payments platform from the ground up. The position requires designing secure, scalable systems for healthcare payment, claims, and revenue cycle workflows, recruiting and leading the early engineering team, and working directly with founders, investors, advisors, and early customers. The goal is to move quickly from MVP to a scalable commercial product.

Requirements

  • Built and launched a software product from concept/MVP to production
  • Strong hands-on coding background
  • Experience designing scalable, secure software systems
  • Experience building AI-powered products, automation platforms, or intelligent workflow systems
  • Understanding of claims, payments, reimbursement workflows, financial operations, or other transaction-heavy regulated environments
  • Experience hiring, building, and leading engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology, product architecture, and engineering execution from concept through production
  • Build and launch an AI-enabled healthcare payments platform from the ground up
  • Design secure, scalable systems for healthcare payment, claims, and revenue cycle workflows
  • Recruit and lead the early engineering team
