About The Position

The CTL Associate II performs a variety of routine and specialized/complex cellular therapy laboratory procedures and projects. This position communicates effectively with management for any processing, cell-based assays or equipment issues, successfully troubleshoots basic processing, bioassays and equipment issues, initiates SOP revisions, assists in ordering of the supplies and maintaining inventories and performs cell-based release testing assays including high complexity assays such as Chromium release cytotoxicity assay and ELISpot.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to operate different flow cytometers.
  • 1 year (Required) Minimum Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in basic science or related field desired.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with management for any processing, cell-based assays or equipment issues.
  • Successfully troubleshoots basic processing, bioassays and equipment issues.
  • Initiates SOP revisions.
  • Assists in ordering of the supplies and maintaining inventories.
  • Performs cell-based release testing assays including high complexity assays such as Chromium release cytotoxicity assay and ELISpot.
  • Consistently demonstrates adherence to the standards for the responsible conduct of research.
  • Plans, conducts and manages research projects within federal and institutional regulations and policies under the direction of the principal investigator.
  • Uses research funds and resources appropriately.
  • Maintains confidentiality of data as required.
  • Meets all annual job-related training and compliance requirements.
