The CTE Outreach Specialist (Grant Funded) position at TCAT-Jackson, within the Grants & Institutional Advancement Department, is responsible for building relationships with K-12 leadership to promote Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and pathways. This role supports the transition from secondary to postsecondary education by coordinating communication and resources among K-12 partners, postsecondary staff, and workforce stakeholders. The specialist will identify opportunities for improved alignment between student interests and program offerings, including dual enrollment and career preparation. Additionally, the position will coordinate work-based learning partnerships, strengthen connections between secondary CTE dual enrollment and postsecondary programs, and research emerging labor market trends. The role involves supporting outreach activities like campus visits and information sessions, and collaborating with campus leadership and community partners to expand access and develop sustainable CTE pipelines. Record maintenance for outreach and pathway development is also a key responsibility. The activities funded by Perkins V Reserve will be limited to eligible CTE programs with approved Early Postsecondary Opportunities (EPSOs).
