About The Position

This role involves executing high-precision CT imaging procedures following radiologist protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis of patient injuries and diseases. The technologist will prepare and guide patients through their scans by accurately setting anatomical parameters and administering contrast media, ensuring both clinical excellence and patient safety. Additionally, they will execute high-quality radiologic exams by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical factors to provide physicians with clear images needed for accurate diagnosis. The technologist will also protect patient well-being by strictly following radiation safety guidelines and monitoring for any physical changes during procedures, ensuring a safe and secure imaging experience.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
