About The Position

This role involves partnering directly with physicians during complex, specialized imaging procedures to deliver high-resolution diagnostic images and support target interventions. The technologist will position patients compassionately and configure technical parameters accurately to capture crystal-clear images while maximizing patient comfort and safety. Administering contrast media and prescribed medications safely within the clinical scope, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal guidelines throughout the procedure, is also a key responsibility. The role requires submitting completed imaging, correct anatomical markers, and comprehensive patient histories to the digital archiving system promptly. Maintaining strict radiation protection standards and a clean, safe clinical environment across all treatment rooms to uphold total regulatory compliance and patient safety is essential.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following: Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
