ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to become a vital part of our organization. This role is responsible for reviewing patient histories, ensuring patient privacy, and supporting the daily operations of our CT and X-ray facilities. Key duties include quality control of CT scanner performance, PACS operation, and maintaining accurate facility records. The Technologist will collaborate with colleagues and healthcare team members to uphold quality assurance standards and deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring an optimal patient experience while performing routine and specialized CT and/or X-ray examinations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • 1+ year experience in both CT and X-Ray.
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • State license holder (OBMI or WA DOH).
  • Competent and able to perform all routine and specialized CT and X-Ray examinations.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
  • Current BLS w/ AED training CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification in phlebotomy; knowledge of venipuncture, ability to locate an accessible vein, and to draw a blood sample.
  • Can easily navigate a computer and learn new software.
  • Ability to travel to onsite locations where imaging care is provided.
  • Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator
  • Must wear a mask as needed

Responsibilities

  • Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with the daily operation of the CT and X-Ray facility.
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the CT scanner operates at optimal levels.
  • Exercise responsibility to ensure that the CT scanner is functioning accurately.
  • Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Exercise responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of facility reports, database records, and logs.
  • Ensure that the CT or X-Ray examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
