About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a CT Technologist at Overlake's brand new Off-Campus Emergency Department (OCED) in Lynnwood, which opened in October 2025. The OCED provides 24/7 ED-level care in a highly collaborative, fast-paced setting, modeled after successful OCED locations across Washington State. The CT Technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and the department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. The person in this role is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional CT & X-Ray exams and procedures within these established guidelines and serves as a role model and resource within the department. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. It employs nearly 3,000 people and has approximately 1,000 active and courtesy providers on its medical staff. Overlake was the first Level III Trauma Center on the Eastside and is known for providing award-winning, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program
  • ARRT(R) registry required upon hire
  • ARRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire
  • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire
  • Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
  • Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium)
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire
  • Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for position
  • Provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment (after October 18, 2021)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • For Lead position, a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities
