About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN CT Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO). This is an Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position with flexible PRN scheduling, requiring a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in Computed Tomography (CT) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment, including quality control. CT Guided Biopsy and Procedures rotation is available.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• License or certification in either of the following: RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
• 1 year+ CT experience

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
