About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The Radiology Department at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a full-service, diagnostic center dedicated to delivering the highest quality imaging services. We provide competent, courteous and compassionate clinical services, and respond to requests for services from patients and referring physicians promptly. Same-day-service and delivering quick results to physicians are hallmarks of our services. Missouri Baptist Medical Center provides a full-service Computed Tomography (CT) department offering all types of CT exams, including highly specialized CT Angiography that examines blood vessels in the body.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
