About The Position

Are you a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist ready to drive diagnostic excellence on the weekends? We're seeking a dedicated Full-Time Weekend Shift CT Technologist to join our dynamic team! Sign on bonus for qualified candidates! As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful, you'll deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging: from general workflow and patient positioning to consistently capturing clear results for timely, accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, (including course work in cross-sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy), upon hire and
  • One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or
  • any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire

  • One year of work experience as a CT Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Executing all diagnostic CT studies using advanced equipment (GE CT scanners, workstations, etc.).
  • Following formal protocols and explaining procedures clearly to patients.
  • Completing examinations including filming and image retrieval.
  • Delivering patient care for all age groups, acting as a liaison between patient and radiologist.
  • Responding to emergency situations and performing basic patient care.
  • Consulting with nursing staff on patient conditions and documenting care.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and radiation protection, keeping doses as low as possible.
  • Performing incidental office duties like data entry and billing.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance audits.
  • Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and competence in all patient interactions.
