About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a Full-Time opportunity, working M- Th, 11:30a – 9p. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
- Must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
- Positions designated as requiring a level II Background will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
