About The Position

Backus Hospital is actively hiring CT Technologists to join their dynamic team in Norwich, Connecticut. Hartford HealthCare offers a competitive benefits program designed to ensure work/life balance. Our skilled CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Techs participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Accepting New Grads from a CT Scan program

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.
