About The Position

The CT Technologist will possess knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. They will maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a CT Tech.
• BLS certification.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Active NY license required at time of submission.
• RTO (Radiologic Technologist Operating) information must be included at time of submission.
• Experience with Epic EMR.

• Specific experience and training in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Position patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media as required.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
• Perform quality control checks on CT equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
