Check out this video and learn more and discover the “Power of We". As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams on patients using specialized equipment. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours for this position are day shifts; 07:30 -18:00 ; Week 1 Sunday, Wednesday- Friday; Week 2 Wednesday- Saturday. Incumbent may be hired on at a Level I or II, depending on experience and qualifications.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration
Relevant State licensure (where required)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
IV Competency within 30 days of hire (for CT Tech II)
Proficiency in 5 of the following areas: Computed Tomography Certification/Registration, Interventional CT, Cryo/microwave ablations, CT Coronary Angiography, TAVR, TMVR, Cardiac, Stroke perfusion imaging, Pediatric CT (less than 15yrs of age) in at least 80% of patient workload). Note: Must complete a minimum of 5 cases per specialty procedure accompanied with documented skills pass off by a lead CT tech. (for CT Tech II)

Responsibilities

Maintains American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
Assists and instructs students and other CT Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
Understands and operates CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions.
Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.
Functions as education liaison for new students, trainer for new employee orientation, Superuser for equipment, hospital/system group discussions or committees as the CT representative as delegated per local department manager.
