CT Technologists are responsible for explaining radiographic procedures to patients, collecting accurate patient history, performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation, and properly entering patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System. Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
