About The Position

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join their leading team. This role involves operating CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical devices to produce diagnostic and interventional radiology scans. The technologist will provide quality care to patients, communicate patient needs effectively, and assist in planning and performing multiple diagnostic procedures efficiently. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the ARRT.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience, with one (1) year in CT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certification in CT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operates CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical equipment to produce scans (x-rays) for diagnostic and invasive procedures.
  • Provides quality care to the patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Communicates patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written correspondence.
  • Assists with performing and planning multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate time sequence.
