About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center, in Harrisonburg, VA, is currently hiring a CT Technologist for a Full Time, Weekend Night Shift. This role involves providing quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician, adhering to required protocol standards. The technologist will perform CT scans per protocol, educate patients and families, operate equipment safely, complete department documentation, and maintain equipment and supply inventory. Adherence to radiation safety regulatory guidelines and administration of CT Contrast per protocol are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)
• ARRT or CNMT (Required)
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards.
• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Operates equipment safely.
• Completes department documentation.
• Maintains all equipment to be clean and operational.
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
• Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
