CT Technologist
About The Position
Performs diagnostic exams consistent with quality CT Imaging. Fulltime, Day shift Monday, Thursday, Friday 8a-8p Must have ARRT and at least 1yr experience as CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus. Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients. Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
Requirements
- ARRT registered - CT registry
- Graduate of approved Radiology Program
- Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
- Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level
- At least 1yr experience as CT Tech
